اگر بطور کامل به استفاده و کاربرد زمان گذشته استمراری مسلط شده اید از شما در ادامه می خواهم که نحوه استفاده و کاربرد فرم مجهولی زمان گذشته استمراری را بیاموزید.
عزیزان من فرم مجهولی وقتی بکار می رود که برای گوینده انجام دهنده فعل اهمیت نداشته باشد؛ و چیزی که برای او مهم است انجام شدن فعل روی کسی یا چیزی است؛ به این دلیل است که جملات مجهولی با آن چیز یا کس که فعل روی آن انجام شده آغاز می شود؛ که در اصطلاح گرامری به آن مفعول می گویند.
حالا فرم مجهولی زمان گذشته استمراری به شکل زیر است:
Subject + was / were being + past participle (verb) + by object + adverbs.
در فرمول بالا subject یا فاعل جمله مجهول در حقیقت مفعول جمله معلوم است و گوینده در صورت نیاز می تواند فاعل جمله معلوم را بعد از حرف اضافه by بعد از فعل مجهول بکار ببرد.
